What does the Disability Assessor role involve? The Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day.Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't.Your role is to gather information and produce the report.This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established, people focussed organisation.You'll receive outstanding training and support to ensure you are the best you can be in your new role What is on offer as a Disability Assessor?- Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa- Monday to Friday working hours- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)- Torquay based when working on site- Annual leave bank holidays the ability to buy or sell 10 more days- Pension scheme- NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided What we look for; An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist xpwpeyx with 1 years or more broad post-registration experience Someone whos proactive and keen to learn Excellent oral and written communication skills Competent IT and computer skills Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health Please click apply if you are open to hearing more Disability Assessor- Functional Assessor- Disability Analyst- Assessment Nurse- FunctionalAnalystd02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
