Join us at THINC EMEA, Topcon Healthcare’s innovation and networking hub, where breakthrough ideas in ophthalmology, digital health and oculomics become reality.As our Senior Medical Science Liaison, you will help shape the future of “Healthcare from the Eye” and drive scientific excellence across the UK and EMEA.What You’ll DoAct as the regional scientific expert for Topcon’s digital health, imaging and oculomics solutions, providing authoritative clinical insight across the UK and EMEA.Build and manage strong KOL and clinical stakeholder relationships, elevating Topcon’s scientific presence and driving regional advocacy.Deliver scientific communication and education, translating complex clinical and technical concepts into clear, impactful presentations and training programs.Lead and support evidence generation activities, including IITs, clinical collaborations and validation studies that strengthen clinical credibility.Identify emerging clinical trends and unmet needs, translating insights into actionable recommendations for Product, R&D and Global Medical Affairs.Drive medical education programs, creating and delivering content that supports clinician adoption, distributor capability and internal up‑skilling.Provide strategic scientific input for commercial and marketing teams, aligning scientific messaging with market needs and competitive landscapes.Represent Topcon at scientific forums, including congresses, advisory boards and roundtables, enhancing visibility and scientific leadership.Collaborate globally to ensure alignment with international medical strategy, sharing regional insights and supporting cross‑market initiatives.Who You AreYou are a scientifically credible, commercially aware, highly collaborative Medical Affairs professional who thrives where clinical science meets emerging technology.You enjoy building deep relationships with clinicians and researchers, influencing product direction and representing your organization on the global stage.You’re proactive, adaptable and motivated by improving patient care through data‑driven, innovative healthcare solutions.Qualifications / What You Bring3–5 years of experience, advanced scientific or clinical background (MD, OD, MSc, PhD, PharmD or equivalent) with strong grounding in ophthalmology, optometry, retinal imaging, diagnostics or digital health.Proven KOL and clinician engagement experience, establishing scientific credibility and conducting high‑level clinical and technical discussions.Strong scientific communication and research capability, able to translate complex imaging, data‑driven or AI‑enabled concepts and contribute to evidence generation (IITs, validation studies, academic collaborations).Commercially aware and technologically confident, understanding market dynamics and comfortable working with advanced imaging, analytics and AI‑supported diagnostic tools. xpwpeyx Trusted, organised and collaborative, building long‑term relationships through integrity while managing multiple priorities and thriving in cross‑functional, cross‑regional, matrixed environments.Additional InformationIf you’re excited to help define the future of data‑driven eye care—and want to work at the heart of innovation, collaboration and scientific advancement—we would love to hear from you.Join us at THINC EMEA and be part of transforming Healthcare from the Eye.
