The ideal applicant will have experience delivering across Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear, or Infrastructure markets, focusing on improving clients’ Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operational capabilities.BenefitsOwnership of high‑impact projects and diverse delivery teams across the project lifecycleAn opportunity to lead some of the largest and most complex projects in the Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear, and Infrastructure marketsPlaying a key role in helping grow a dynamic and award‑winning consulting practice (Best New Consultancy 2025 – MCA Awards)A competitive salary and benefits packageGenerous annual leave package – including an extra day’s leave for your birthdaySquarcle is highly committed to equality and diversity in our recruitment and talent management processes.Primary Roles and ResponsibilitiesEngagement Management and ExecutionLead consulting engagements from initiation to completion, collaborating with clients to ensure successful delivery of project scope, objectives, and outcomes within specific timelines and budgets.Provide strategic guidance and oversight to consultants, ensuring quality standards and processes are always maintained.Ensure high client satisfaction through effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.Business DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior clients, establishing a reputation as a trusted advisor.Identify and pursue follow‑on work and new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.Lead development of proposals and contribute to sales and bid processes.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the wider competitive landscape.People ResponsibilitiesMentor and develop junior consultants, assisting in their professional growth.Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.Foster knowledge sharing and best practices across the business.Encourage effective working in diverse teams within an inclusive culture where people are recognised for their contribution.Support internal staffing processes, including performance management of individuals.Internal ResponsibilitiesSupport the wider Senior Management team in the development of capabilities, products, and services.Contribute to thought‑leadership initiatives (e.g., articles, whitepapers, industry events).Adhere to and monitor compliance of Squarcle policies and processes.Secondary Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssist with Squarcle recruitment and retention activities.Support the development of Squarcle policies and processes.Knowledge, Skills and Experience (Essential)6+ years of professional experience working in a consulting or equivalent environment.Track record of successful delivery of strategic advisory, operational improvement, or technology‑service delivery in a consulting context.Strong programme‑management delivery experience, including budgetary and resource oversight.Extensive experience managing a complex, decentralised matrix team.Experience of managing and influencing executive and senior‑level stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in multi‑disciplinary environments.Advanced communication, presentation, and IT skills.Flexibility to travel as needed to client sites.Knowledge, Skills and Experience (Desirable)Big Four (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or equivalent consulting experience.Passion and interest in emerging technologies, including agentic AI.Deep technical capability in one or more of: strategy development, procurement, supply chain, operating model, change management, data analytics, system integration.Industry experience in one or more of: Aerospace & Defence (prime or MOD), Nuclear, or infrastructure. xpwpeyx SC clearance.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionBusiness Development and SalesIndustriesBusiness Consulting and Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
