We are seeking a passionate and visionary leader to build a comprehensive AI strategy from the ground up. You will have the autonomy to design, build, and lead a new function that is central to our future growth, ensuring the benefits of the AI revolution are accessible, practical, and widespread.Key ResponsibilitiesYour role will be strategically divided across three core pillars:Community Impact:Spearhead a landmark social initiative to deliver free, accessible, and impactful AI training to communities across Scotland.Demystify AI for the public and empower individuals from all backgrounds with the skills to thrive in an AI-driven world.Build and nurture strong partnerships with local colleges and universities to support the community initiative.Forge partnerships with other local organisations to maximise the reach and impact of the programme.Internal Enablement:Design and deliver dynamic, engaging training programmes to ensure all DataVita employees become fully proficient with key AI tools and concepts.Champion an internal culture of AI literacy and continuous learning, transforming how we operate and innovate.Customer Training:Develop and roll out a sophisticated suite of AI training schemes for our diverse customer base, from medium enterprises to public sector organisations.Position DataVita as a strategic partner by providing value-added training that helps clients harness the power of AI for their own success.About YouYou are a passionate educator and a strategic builder, excited by the prospect of creating something new and impactful. You believe in the power of technology to uplift communities and are driven to make a tangible difference.Essential Skills & ExperienceA strong and proven background in designing and delivering impactful training programmes to a wide spectrum of users, from technical novices to expert users.Demonstrable expertise in creating compelling training content for both in-person workshops and scalable online formats.A solid, practical understanding of the modern AI ecosystem, with hands-on experience using mainstream systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and Claude.A firm grasp of more advanced concepts, including agentic AI and the application of AI-driven workflow systems.You must be a natural self-starter, with the vision and drive to build a new business function from the ground up.Location is crucial: Due to the significant focus on in-person community and customer delivery, you must be located within the central belt of Scotland.What We OfferA Ground-Floor Opportunity: This is a truly unique chance to get involved at the foundational stage of a key new business function.
