We are partnered with Vision Engineering, a world-class multinational manufacturing and design organisation. With operations in 9 countries and a turnover of £32M, they now seek a new, experienced and dynamic Group Sales Director to drive their global growth strategy, while managing the day-to-day operational sales functions.Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.Why this role?Board-Level Impact: Shape the future of a multinational business.Global Reach: Lead international sales across North America, Europe, Asia and beyond.Innovation at Heart: Work with advanced technologies and diverse markets.Leadership Opportunity: Directly manage senior country managers and influence global sales professionals.Role ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive a global sales strategy using strategic and commercial leadership.Drive sales performance and profitability in international branches, and drive sales and market expansion in local (and diversified) sales divisions.Collaborate with the Board to make high-level commercial decisions.Develop and manage annual sales forecasts, strategic plans and budgets with regional teams and hold full turnover and P&L responsibility.Set and monitor lead generation and sales targets with the Marketing team.Conduct commercial performance analysis and implement strategies to maximise turnover and profitability. Oversee commercial product management.Lead 6 senior country managers and oversee 40+ international sales professionals.Oversee international trade show participation and industry events.Person SpecificationDemonstrable experience as Sales Director or Senior Sales Leader in a technical organisation.Strong track record in managing international sales teams and export operations.Understanding and knowledge of technical instrumentation/metrology.Willing to travel internationally on a monthly basis.Happy to commute to the office in Send, Surrey or willing to relocate to achieve this, in due course.Benefits PackageSalary Package - Competitive base salary, car allowance and bonus.Private Pension, BUPA healthcare, Simply Health cash back, life insurance, sickness absence pay and cycle to work.Excellent staff facilities including free on-site parking and access to EV charging, free on-site gym, yoga sessions, boxercise and more.A culture that celebrates innovation, diversity and personal development.Company InformationAt the core of Vision Engineering, they manufacture optical inspection, non-contact measuring, digital and digital stereo systems, primarily supplying industrial manufacturers for Assembly, Quality control and Non-contact Inspection and Measurement. Their market is global, encompassing electronic, precision engineering, plastics, medical device manufacturing, analytical laboratories and increasingly biomedical laboratories. xpwpeyx Other divisions focus on end-to-end design, manufacturing and commercialisation services, supplying optical sourcing solutions for defence, medical and OEM sectors, and providing high-end machining and anodizing services, primarily for the medical, defence and energy sectors.
