Our teams are driven by a shared commitment to excellence, collaboration and making a real impact to the lives of our clients and customers.Role Summary EQ is seeking a Pensions Administrator to work within a new team responsible for delivering Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) services to its Clients and Customers. You should have prior experience in the pensions industry, ideally in the area of Bulk Purchase Annuities and/or Defined Benefit Pension Scheme Administration.Core Duties/Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Provide, both buy in and buy out, administration services to customers, working to agreed targetsPutting the member experience at the heart of everything member transaction we lead uponInterpreting and applying Trustee membership movements to the insured population during buy in administrationTo complete / check casework and provide feedbackResolving customer enquiries (oral and written)Collating and escalating Trustee and client enquiries (oral and written)Drafting of non-standard correspondence in response to customer and client enquiriesCollating and analysing data and produces routine reportsPerforming and issuing pension calculations including manual calculationsChecking and reviewing Trustee's pension calculation during buy in administrationCarrying out projects and ad-hoc activities, as determined by your Team LeaderThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience skills and behavioursBuild and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, Trustee administrators and client stakeholdersSkills, Capabilities and AttributesThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:Excellent attention to detail and capable of following defined processes and proceduresStrong communication skillsStrong desire to deliver exceptional customer serviceThe ability to develop positive and productive working relationshipsComputer literate with a willingness to learn a variety of systems * Strong numeracy and literacy skillsPrevious experience of Defined Benefits Pensions is preferredKnowledge of Bulk Purchase Annuities is desirableProven track record of quality, timely deliveryWhat We Offer Save For Your Future - Equiniti Pension Plan; Equiniti matches your pension contributions up to 10%Health and Wellbeing - Employee Assistance Programme: counselling, legal & wellbeing support for colleagues and their households.
