This is a newly created senior leadership role, managing a team of ~10 engineers across the UK and internationally, and shaping an infrastructure function that supports major enterprise customers worldwide.The OpportunityYou’ll own the design, operation, and continuous improvement of all IT infrastructure—spanning cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), UK data centres, internal networks, and PCI‑compliant environments. You’ll also drive global scalability, resilience, and security as the business continues its international expansion.Reporting to the Technical Director, you’ll collaborate closely with technical, delivery and support teams, acting as a senior escalation point and setting the long‑term infrastructure strategy.What You’ll DoLead and develop the Infrastructure & IT Operations teams across multiple regionsOversee cloud environments, UK data centres, internal systems, and critical payment infrastructureDrive BAU operations including incident, problem, and change managementAct as the escalation point for critical infrastructure issuesEnsure security, compliance, and disaster recovery processes are robust and maintainedCoordinate projects and ensure smooth delivery of infrastructure for new and existing servicesBuild strong relationships across technical teams, clients, and partnersShape cloud strategy, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement across AWS & AzureWhat You’ll Bring10+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, or networking rolesProven leadership of technical teams and customer‑facing environmentsStrong experience with AWS, Azure, data centre technologies, networks, Linux/WindowsComfort operating at senior level—strong communicator, problem‑solver, and decision‑makerKnowledge xpwpeyx of standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, P2PEExperience supporting complex enterprise applications (retail sector experience is advantageous)Ability to manage competing priorities, mentor teams, and influence stakeholdersYou AreA hands‑on technical leader with a collaborative mindsetCalm, methodical, and solutions‑focused—even in major incident scenariosPassionate about cloud technology, security, and operational excellenceAble to balance strategic vision with day‑to‑day deliveryIf you are interested please email your CV to for immediate consideration.Seniority level: Mid‑Senior levelReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Stott and May by 2x#J-18808-Ljbffr
