A growing fire safety consultancy is seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Fire Surveyor to join its team, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Fire Surveyor who wants to work across a varied portfolio of projects while developing their expertise in a supportive environment.Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.As a Lead Fire Surveyor, you will work as part of a collaborative technical team that values creativity, analytical thinking and a strong commitment to client service.The organisation promotes genuine work-life balance, supports professional development at every level and provides a positive, inclusive culture where individuals are trusted and respected.Lead Fire Surveyor- Responsibilities Produce fee proposals, fire strategy reports and technical documentation.* Attend client meetings, carry out site surveys and communicate fire strategy recommendations clearly and confidently.* Review architectural drawings to identify risks and opportunities to enhance the fire strategy.* Calculate evacuation times and complete Means of Escape analysis.* Carry out computational evacuation modelling.* Undertake fire engineering calculations including radiant heat, smoke control and occupant evacuation, with support where required.* Complete third party reviews and design verification.* Develop a strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and standards relating to buildings.Lead Fire Surveyor- Personal Attributes Strong technical and analytical capability.* Creative problem solver with a clear understanding of risk.* Self-motivated and results driven.* High standards of accuracy and presentation.* Proactive, enthusiastic and commercially aware.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Team player with a collaborative approach to sharing knowledge.* Passionate about delivering high quality fire engineering solutions.Lead Fire Surveyor- Key Requirements Degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline.* Minimum three years of experience working as a Fire Engineer or within a Fire Safety Engineering team.* IFE membership (MIFireE or AIFireE).* Strong knowledge of ADB, BS 9999 and BS 9991.* Confident understanding of regulatory controls and the ability to develop fire engineered design solutions for the built environment.Benefits Enrolment to company bonus scheme, paid twice annually.* Hybrid working policy with a real focus on work-life balance.* 33 days annual leave including bank holidays.* 9-day fortnight where employees receive every other Friday off with no expectation to make up the hours.* Flexible working.Eight hour day structured to suit individual employees between 7am and 8pm.* Enrolment to company pension scheme with 5% employer contribution and 3% employee contribution.* Annual professional subscriptions paid.* Study support for CPD and relevant training.* Discretionary bonus scheme paid twice a year.* Employee referral scheme with bonuses for every Fire Engineer referred who joins the business.* Participation in monthly wellbeing challenges via Pacer with cash prizes up to £150 per month.* Access to private healthcare.* Access to an EAP with 24/7 support from doctors and healthcare professionals.* Join a positive, autonomous team that values results and supports each other. xpwpeyx If you are an Accomplished Fire Surveyor, considering your career opportunities, please contact Megan Cole at Brandon James.REF: 20831
