Principal Sustainability Consultant – TipTopJobMake sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Im partnering with a leading engineering and sustainability consultancy known for delivering innovative, low‑carbon design solutions across the built environment. They are now looking to appoint a Principal Sustainability Engineer to join their growing team.ResponsibilitiesProven experience working as a Sustainability Consultant at Senior or Principal levelStrong technical knowledge in energy and building performance modellingProficiency with tools such as IES VE, Elmhurst, Part L and Part O assessmentsExperience delivering environmental and wellbeing assessments (e.g., BREEAM, WELL, HQM)Ability to lead sustainability workstreams across all RIBA stagesDemonstrated project leadership, including resource coordination and team oversightExperience supporting planning applications and working with local authoritiesStrong communication skills, including leading workshops and presenting to design teamsAbility to delegate, review work, and support the development of junior team membersDesirable CriteriaExperience with operational energy modelling (TM54, ApacheSim, ApacheHVAC)Knowledge of NABERS UK or Design for Performance frameworksExperience with whole life carbon assessments and tools such as OneClick LCAUnderstanding of Passivhaus methodologies (e.g., PHPP)Experience preparing circular economy statements or wider sustainability strategiesInvolvement in fee proposal developmentLine management experienceWorking towards Chartership (Chartered status highly advantageous)Company BenefitsSupportive, people:focused working culture with strong professional development pathwaysOpportunity to work on innovative, high:profile, xpwpeyx industry:leading sustainability projectsRegular involvement in wider industry initiatives and technical excellence groupsFlexible working arrangements, including progressive working patternsGenerous annual leave allowancePrivate medical coverElectric vehicle salary sacrifice schemeOpportunities for internal progression and cross:discipline collaborationInclusive workplace environment with community groups and social eventsIf this role is of interest to you please contact Lany Warnakulasuriya from Penguin Recruitment on or email#J-18808-Ljbffr
