The Opportunity As Commercial Manager for this successful Audio Visual company, your role will be to drive AV project procurement, gross profit optimisation, and maintenance contract lifecycle to ensure cost control, supplier reliability, and recurring revenue growth.Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.You will collaborate with project, finance, service, and sales teams while managing end-to-end commercial operations including invoice approval, supplier engagement, logistics, and compliance.Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement of AV equipment; validate BOMs, chase supplier quotes, negotiate best pricing, manage lead times, supply risks, and order placement.Generate and distribute monthly project-level Gross Profit (GP) reports; analyse variances, forecast margins, support PMs with cost recovery, value engineering, and quote research.Approve all internal and external invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment.Own full maintenance contract lifecycle and client contract management: track renewals (90120 days pre-expiry), negotiate terms, upsell service tiers, maintain centralised database with SLAs, pricing, and escalation clauses.Build and manage preferred supplier frameworks; conduct QBRs and supplier meetings, chase suppliers for orders, resolve disputes, ensure compliance (RoHS, CE, warranties).Oversee company accreditations, company insurance, and engineer qualifications/courses to maintain operational and regulatory standards.Support commercial processes: review POs, subcontracts, change orders, tender pricing, risk mitigation, and provide sales support.Align inventory with project pipelines; coordinate logistics, equipment deliveries, tracking, customs paperwork, equipment packing for projects, and just-in-time delivery.Manage consumables ordering and ensure stock availability.Based in Surrey, salary will be up to £55k p.a.doe plus benefits.The role is office based.Your skills and experience 2 years in AV integration or procurement (systems integrator, reseller, or manufacturer).Standard technical knowledge of AV ecosystems (control systems, audio, video, conferencing).Advanced Excel for GP modelling and reporting.Proven success in supplier negotiation, best pricing, contract renewals, margin improvement, and invoice management.Analytical, detail-focused, with strong client-facing communication and organisational skills.The Organisation Our client is a global communications and conferencing company who provide secure and compliant video and audio conferencing, event calls, audio-visual solutions and maintenance services.They pride themselves on long-term relationships with many financial blue-chip clients, where security and compliance are vital. xpwpeyx The Recruiter AV Jobs are the UK's No.1 recruiter in the Audio Visual and complementary products marketplace, ensuring the best fit of client and candidate.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
