Role OverviewPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.- Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer The primary responsibility of our Gas Engineers will be to maintain and repair heating systems in clients properties.They will ensure that heating and hot water systems operate efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering quality service.Youll be working across a variety of environments and must be comfortable adapting to different settings and client needs.Key Responsibilities Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region Ensure high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet required quality standards Communicate updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during daily work Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements Skills & Experience Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications.As a minimum: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential) Valid UK driving licence (essential) Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and tenants What We Offer We offer a range of benefits designed to support your lifestyle both at work and outside of it, including: Company vehicle and fuel card supplied xpwpeyx Uniform, PPE and mobile device supplied Contributory pension scheme Life assurance Private Healthcare (PMI) 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (with service-based increases) Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, plus other family-friendly policies Access to retail discounts Virtual GP service for employees and immediate family Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Bike-to-Work Scheme EV car scheme Employee engagement events and voice programmes Strong opportunities for career growth and development Recognition initiatives celebrating the ways employees live our values
