The Principal Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the corridor scheme, ensuring it progresses to time, budget, and quality standards. The role includes:Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.Leading the delivery of work packages from design through to constructionManaging stakeholder relationships, including elected members, contractors, and consultantsOverseeing procurement, land arrangements, and statutory processesEnsuring effective reporting, risk management, and issue resolutionSupporting the Project Management Office (PMO) with programme assurance and governanceKey ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery: Manage the delivery of the corridor scheme, including planning and design issue resolution, and on-site implementation.Stakeholder Engagement: Lead communications and consultations with internal and external stakeholders.Risk & Issue Management: Identify and resolve risks and issues to maintain programme integrity.Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, approve purchase orders, and ensure value for money.Reporting: Produce dashboards, reports, and programme updates for senior leadership and Mayoral Combined Authority.Design & Procurement: Manage design assurance/resolution meetings, contractor involvement, and utility coordination.Governance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal governance processes. xpwpeyx Candidate RequirementsEssential:Proven experience in managing large-scale transport infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of project management methodologies (APM Level D or equivalent)Experience working with local authorities and political stakeholdersAbility to manage multi-agency delivery and resolve complex issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDegree-level education or equivalent experienceLocal knowledge of South Gloucestershire network and ability to attend site/officesDesirable:Chartered membership of CIHT, ILT, RTPI, or ICEKnowledge of CDM regulations and statutory planning processesExperience with NEC4 contract managementIf you are interested in this role please send your updated CV in the first instance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
