Multiskilled Engineer Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Maintenance Technician Location: Skipton, North Yorkshire Type: Permanent Salary: £44,348 Hours: DaysYou could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.- Rotational weeks: oWeek 1: Mon- Thurs (06:15-16:30) oWeek 2: Mon- Thurs (07:15-16:00), Friday (07:30-14:00) Our client, a global medical device manufacturer is looking to recruit for an experienced Multi- Skilled Technician/ Engineer.The site is state of the art, it features an innovation hub & some of the best automated and manufacturing technology you will see.this is a perfect role for someone looking to move into a GMP facility (from a BRC/ FMCG background), for someone looking to move to days or for people looking to further their career working for an established medical devices company.The Role: Maintenance of Medical Device Manufacturing equipment and processes located within controlled manufacturing areas.Carry out planned maintenance, calibration, machine changeover/set-up, breakdown repair of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation, associated with process equipment.Support to site Facilities as required, ensure recording of all work activities within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure compliance within a regulated industry.Respond quickly to Maintenance support on manufacturing equipment, to achieve production output standards.Support to environmental and utilities systems at our manufacturing facility.Delivery of excellent customer service resulting in asset uptime, first time fix and quality workmanship.Actively involved in the development of departmental processes, procedures.Lead maintenance activities in areas of responsibility, both breakdown support and improvement work.Proactive support of a continuous improvement culture that develops factory assets, procedures, processes and systems.Comply with planned maintenance / calibration regimes, ensure work is completed and recorded in a timely manner within the CMMS.Ensure effective communications with stakeholders regarding equipment status, during breakdown support and any engineering requirements within Operational areas.Comply with site Health Safety and Environmental procedures and standards; ensure safe working conditions are maintained.The Person: Will hold a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, NVQ 3, ONC/HNC equivalent or have sufficient experience working as a Main Technician/ Eng in a similar setting Experience working as a Maintenance Technician and/or Engineer in a Pharmaceutical, Chemical, FMCG, Food setting Mechanical or electrical bias Proficient in IT / Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc).Good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills needed.Good team player and able to work independently when needed.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.In applying for this role, Russell Taylor will be acting within your interest and will contact you in relation to the role, either by email, phone or text message.For more information see our Privacy Policy on our website.It is important you are aware of your individual rights and the provisions the company has put in place to protect your data. xpwpeyx If you would like further information on the policy or GDPR please get in touch with us here.
