Director, Product, Collateral and Liquidity ManagementMaximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.Join to apply for the Director, Product, Collateral and Liquidity Management role at LSEG.Role PurposeReporting to the Global Head of Collateral & Liquidity Management (CaLM), the Head of Product will own and lead the product strategy in conjunction with the Global Head of CaLM and the respective COOs globally for both Ltd & SA. This role defines the roadmap together with CaLM COO and Global Head, and is responsible for investigating new collateral & investment initiatives across different asset classes to ensure they are efficient, aligned to regulatory requirements, competitively placed, and deliver commercial value. The incumbent works across business, front office, risk, sales, legal, ops, tech and finance functions to innovate and scale collateral & liquidity capabilities while handling risk appropriately.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Vision: Lead the development and implementation of the Group’s strategic collateral programme, set vision, owning the planning process, acquiring consensus, and implementing strategic goals in line with Group Strategic Objectives. Conduct market research, landscape comparisons, regulatory horizon scanning, engage with sell-side and buy-side institutions, and represent LCH/LSEG to sales and external panels.Innovation and Transformation: Drive innovation in collateral and liquidity through digital asset research and development, market and regulatory developments in Money Market Funds, Bond ETFs, and other asset classes; assess emerging technologies and trends; lead strategic change programmes ensuring delivery with cross‑functional partners.Management & Cross‑Functional Leadership: Build and develop a strong internal network across business, sales, operations, technology and other functions, support business growth, ensure strong internal communication, present to executive management and regulators, lead and mentor the product team.Risk, Controls and Compliance: Maintain a strong risk and control environment, ensure adherence to regulations, internal policies, risk models and limits, and work closely with risk, legal, compliance, technology, operations, regulatory reporting and COO partners.QualificationsIn‑depth understanding of collateral and post‑trade markets, with experience in a strategic role within collateral management, treasury/funding, securities services or related financial services environment.Extensive knowledge of financial products relevant to the role (repos, fixed income, OTC derivatives margin and collateral assets).Detailed knowledge of market infrastructure (CSDs, custodians, tri‑party mechanisms).Good understanding of regulatory environment (EMIR, UMR, Basel III/IV).Experience running large or multiple sophisticated product portfolios and leading product teams and cross‑functional teams.Understanding of post‑trade lifecycle, CCPs and cleared products.Ability to engage buy‑side and banks across geographies, work in an international and multi‑cultural environment, and forge positive relationships.Strong interpersonal, commercial and leadership skills; ability to prioritize, drive consensus and deliver on execution.Willingness to take ownership, be accountable, handle expectations and maintain a results‑focused attitude.Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality and continuous improvement.
