Deputy Site Manager – Farmoor, Water Treatment WorksReady to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Site Manager at Farmoor, Water Treatment Works to join Thames Water. This critical facility supplies millions of litres of water daily to the Oxford area. The role supports the Site Manager in ensuring 24/7 operational reliability, asset resilience and a high‑performing team culture.ResponsibilitiesLead day‑to‑day operations, oversee health and safety compliance and manage contractor activities.Drive continuous improvement and embed efficiency and optimisation across the site.Develop your team, deliver performance management and embed a culture of continuous improvement.Qualifications and ExperienceProven experience in water/wastewater operations or a comparable industrial environment.Strong people leadership and performance management skills.IOSH/NEBOSH qualification or willingness to work towards it.Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.Competence in using digital systems and reporting tools.Full UK driving licence.Benefits and PaySalary up to £46,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.25 days holiday per year (30 days after a period of service) plus bank holidays.Performance‑related pay plan tied to company performance measures and targets.Generous pension scheme via AON.Enhanced maternity and paternity leave options.Access to health, well‑being and finance benefits – annual health MOTs, physiotherapy, counselling, Cycle to Work schemes, shopping vouchers and life assurance.About Thames WaterThames Water is the UK’s largest water and wastewater company, serving over 16 million customers.
