You will tailor standard designs to meet project needs, oversee and assure suppliers, and manage the delivery of network architecture in new and refurbished Government Buildings across the country.DDaT role profile: This Role Level, You Will:Consult on network design and provide design patternsIdentify deeper network issues that need fixingSeek opportunities to collaborate and reuse components, communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholdersHave a good understanding of most network technologies including LAN, WAN, WIFI, data centre LAN, SDN, telephony, mobile solutions infrastructure, unified communications, network‑management solutions, and network‑specific security and remote‑access technologiesChampion new technologies and solutionsBe a strategic thinker who can communicate network concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholdersKey Responsibilities:Contribute to updating the network high‑level design (HLD) based on project experienceTailor the HLD to meet specific project requirementsLiaise with other technical specialists to understand requirements and integrate IT systems onto shared networksAssure supplier delivery throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating all technical integrations for customersFacilitate network handover, including overseeing early‑life support during transition to the IT support partnerProvide ongoing support for problem‑solving and technical incident resolution of live servicesWork alongside other technical project managers and often across multiple concurrent projectsTravel frequently to different UK sites to carry out technical delivery assurance activities with strategic partners and suppliersPerson SpecificationEssential CriteriaExperience of multi‑tenant network and IT infrastructure deliveryWi‑Fi networking experienceExperience of xpwpeyx IT delivery in new build and refurbishment construction projects in accordance with RIBA stage lifecycleDesirable CriteriaGood communication skillsStrong documentation skillsQualifications and AccreditationsEssential CriteriaDemonstrated level of experience as a Network ArchitectExperience delivering large Wi‑Fi networks in multi‑tenant buildingsGood understanding of network technology including WAN, LAN, WLAN, firewalls, etc.Experience with a range of network equipment and vendor technologiesEvidence of working with suppliers when delivering and supporting networksStrong customer engagement skillsDesirable CriteriaCCNA or similar experienceCWNA or similar wireless network experience in multi‑tenancy environmentMeraki certifications: ECMS1 and/or ECMS2Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionEngineering and Information Technology – Technology, Information and Internet#J-18808-Ljbffr
