AurorA Energy Research is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations professional to join the Internal Technology team. The role is key to expanding the team and technology offerings for our growing user base.Location: Oxford, UK. Department: Internal Technology.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Ownership: Take ownership of Dynamics 365 F&O as the ERP system, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and alignment with business objectives. Continually evaluate the system’s technical aspects and implement improvements and optimisations in line with change management processes.Collaborative Support: Work with Finance and other business owners to provide technical support, improve training materials and internal processes, and act as an escalation/mentoring point for the Support Engineer role.Strategic Guidance: Guide the technical strategy for Dynamics 365 F&O, translating business requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with Engineering on integrations with other systems in the estate.Systems Expertise: Be the Subject Matter Expert for all Finance Systems and configuration (Dynamics 365 F&O). Advise users and work with the Finance Systems support function to ensure training and support.Systems Management: Own Finance Systems strategy across current and future systems, maintaining a roadmap for the Finance team within the broader systems strategy.Change Management: Champion best practices within the Finance department and represent changes at the systems Change Advisory Board. Coordinate with third-party vendors to prioritise and manage changes.Vendor Management: Own vendor management for Finance systems, conduct service reviews, run market reviews, and contribute to RFPs for new or existing systems as needed.Systems Reporting: Develop and provide reporting on system performance and user satisfaction.
