Join a community that cares about you    More about your role  In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our People and Customer Promises while providing reporting and analysis to help reduce internal spend. You will develop and monitor performance metrics and KPIs, conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure contractual compliance, and support Heads of Service and the Director of Field Operations with relevant data and best practices. You will collaborate with Procurement to provide operational insight during tendering, negotiations, and supplier onboarding, while proactively identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and reputational risks. You will promote sustainable and socially responsible practices, ensuring spend supports our social value goals, and drive continuous improvement through cost-efficiency initiatives and market insights. Additionally, you will engage closely with internal teams such as Repairs, Fleet, and Finance to understand requirements and ensure value for money across all operations. Essential Criteria  Proven experience in operational spend and cost management, ideally within housing, construction, or the public sector.Strong negotiation and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes.Ability to analyse data and produce actionable performance reports.Experience in managing supplier performance and effectively resolving disputes. More About you  You will have proven experience in operational spend and cost management, ideally within the housing, construction, or public sector, with strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills to interpret data and produce meaningful performance reports. You will be confident in managing supplier performance and resolving issues effectively.
