Role: Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Salary: £50,000Scroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.- £53,000 per annum, plus 27 days holiday bank holidays, life assurance, pension (up to 10% 'employer' contributions and employee to match- 20% maximum total), and overtime (£10k potential) Hours: 12 hour rotation shifts of days & nights Location: Commutable from Reading, Newbury, Thatcham, Swindon, Basingstoke, Andover, Oxford, Didcot, and surrounding areas Company We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work in a large and fast moving manufacturing factory.If you've got the desire to settle, grow and advance your skills, this is the place and opportunity for you.They have a dedicated and loyal team, those wanting to join a 'family feel' team, this is perfect To be supported, valued and appreciated.The environment is of a heavier nature so you must be physically fit and enjoy getting your hands dirty.It is working in an engineering department of 10 approx.and in team of 2 Engineers when on shift.It is working on a 12 hour rotation shift pattern covering days & nights.If you are a qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Fitter, ideally gained through an apprenticeship, who is looking for a career move or perhaps things have become complacent where you are or youre not getting the rewards and recognition for your hard work, don't delay and apply now Responsibilities You will be working in a small team of engineers covering; Focusing on mechanical maintenance and fitting work across all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, shut downs and project work.Working in a dedicated mechanical team, responsible for all mechanics across the factory.Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.Support the handover of work to the opposite shift and ensure works are logged and recorded.To work safely at all times and follow safe systems of work.To be actively involved in the TPM improvement process.The role is biased to reactive maintenance, dealing with breakdowns and machinery problems.Requirements Mechanically trained and qualified either through an Apprenticeship or similar or equivalent, holding mechanical engineering qualifications.Mechanical background in a similar environment, in industrial or production or manufacturing environment.Your job titles may include Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Technician.We are looking for someone who has SOME of the following mechanical experience; gear boxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, belts, bearings, chains, shafts, boilers, steam, pumps, welding, fault finding and repairs.Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger to learn and progress Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in Physically fit that loves to get their hands dirty in a heavier style of environment If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.Or call TechNichols Resourcing and speak with Wesley for further information. xpwpeyx We will endeavour to get back to all applicants but if you have not heard back within 5 working days unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
