Job Description Were looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Chichester In this hands-on role, youll perform both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production equipment, including extruders, haul-off units, cooling systems, saws, pneumatic/hydraulic systems and automated machinery.Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.Youll play a key part in keeping the factory running efficiently, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and effectively.This is a Full-Time, Permanent position What youll be doing Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on extrusion lines and related production equipment Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Support machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning projects Ensure all equipment operates safely and downtime is minimised Maintain accurate service records and report maintenance activities Work collaboratively within a small engineering team to deliver efficient plant support Contribute to continuous improvement and process reliability initiatives Hours Monday-Friday, 11:30am- 20:00pm (day shifts during initial training period) Pay Approx £43,000 per annum (depending on experience) Skills/Experience Required Minimum 12 months maintenance experience within a production, manufacturing or industrial environment Electrical or mechanical qualifications preferred Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Benefits 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Company pension Free on-site parking Overtime available Training and career development opportunities Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).All applicants must be commutable to Chichester.What to do next If youre interested in this role, please apply and we will be in touch Modus Personnel are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
