We are recruiting a Proposals Engineer to develop accurate, competitive and compliant technical and commercial proposals to water industry clients.Have you got the right qualifications and skills for this job Find out below, and hit apply to be considered.The role is offered with fully remote working (aside from occasional office meetings when required) with a salary of £50K As the Proposal Engineer will work closely with design, procurement, operations, finance, legal and sales to translate client requirements into winning bid packages and costed solutions.Key Responsibilities Co-ordinate and project manage individual tenders internally from enquiry to order.Review client tender documents (RFP/ITT) and extract scope, deliverables, and evaluation criteria.Prepare technical content: process descriptions, equipment lists, P&IDs, layout drawings, and compliance matrices.Develop cost estimating, supplier/subcontractor quotations and pricing build-ups.Compile full proposal documentation (technical, commercial, and contractual sections) within deadlines.Coordinate internal approvals and ensure submission quality, consistency and compliance.Skills & Experience Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, or related).35 years in water, wastewater, or process treatment industries (ideal) Exposure to design, estimation, or project execution desirable.Understanding of water treatment technologies (e.g., filtration, membranes, aeration, sludge handling) (ideal) Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet multiple deadlines.Desirable Experience with AutoCAD or process design software.Familiarity with standard contract forms (FIDIC, NEC).Personal Attributes Enthusiastic and collaborative team player.Curious and technically minded.Takes ownership of deliverables and deadlines. xpwpeyx Willing to learn commercial and contractual aspects of bids.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
