Family Law Solicitor/Legal ExecutiveLocation:Lincoln, Lincolnshire (with flexibility across regional offices)Salary:Competitive, depending on experienceOverviewA well-respected and long-established law firm is seeking a qualified Family Law Solicitor or Legal Executive (0-3 years PQE) to join its growing Family Department. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, client engagement, and involvement in a wide variety of family and matrimonial law matters.The RoleThe successful candidate will be confident, organised, and proactive, with a genuine interest in family law. You will assist on and manage a range of matters, including but not limited to:Divorce and separationFinancial proceedings following divorce or separationPrivate law children mattersPre- and post-marital agreementsCohabitation and separation agreementsYou will also work closely with the firms marketing team to develop the departments profile, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a high standard of service to clientsCollaborate with partners and fee earners to develop new business opportunitiesContribute to the development and success of the Family DepartmentAchieve fee income targets in line with agreed objectivesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practiceEnsure sound financial control, including billing and collection of monies on accountCarry out fee-earning work accurately, reliably, and in accordance with quality and risk management proceduresPerson SpecificationEssentialQualified Solicitor or Legal ExecutiveKnowledge of key areas of family law, including divorce, private law children cases, and financial proceedingsExperience working on family law matters (can include training contract or paralegal work)Strong organisational and planning skillsAbility to work confidently and develop towards managing your own caseloadIT literate, with experience in case management systemsUnderstanding of Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors Account RulesDesirable xpwpeyx Familiarity with SOS Connect or other case management systemsMarketing and business development experiencePresentation or public speaking skillsAttributesProactive and positive approach to workStrong communication skills, both written and verbalHigh level of integrity, empathy, and professionalismResilient and able to work well under pressureCommitment to ongoing learning and professional growthBenefitsGenerous holiday entitlementStaff discounts on legal servicesIncome protectionLife assurance (3x salary)Salary exchange pension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible working options#J-18808-Ljbffr
