OverviewSenior / Principal Electrical Engineer (Data Centre) position in London within the Building Services team. Mission Critical / Data Centre sector experience is essential.In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.ResponsibilitiesGuide the technical design of projects as subject matter expert.Delegate tasks to engineers and designers; follow quality management processes.Maintain strong client relations; act as supervisor and resource to the technical design team; support staff education and development.Conceptualize, execute, and ensure quality throughout the design process to meet clients’ needs and expectations.QualificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar.Chartered with a relevant institution (IET/CIBSE) or working towards Chartered status.Proven track record in an M&E team, ideally within a design engineering consultancy, with Data Centre / Mission Critical sector experience.Ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, including clients and multi-disciplinary teams.In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering services design, systems and equipment, calculations, and drawing production; experience with Revit and IES.Understanding of the wider built environment, carbon emissions reduction, sustainability, and familiarity with technical standards, planning policies, British Standards, and Building Regulations.About StantecThe Stantec community unites more than 31,000 employees across 450 locations on 6 continents.
