They act as a trusted partner to clients, embodying agency values, and working closely with senior leadership to ensure the agency’s strategic objectives are met. This is a pivotal role in nurturing talent, maintaining high standards of work, and ensuring financial targets are achieved.What You'll DoClient ServiceLead Account Handling teams to deliver outstanding client serviceUnderstand all accounts within the business unit and develop tailored strategiesAct as the senior lead for business within the unit; accountable for profitability, effectiveness, and efficiencyDevelop strong client relationships and act as brand guardian across accountsPeople ManagementOversee development plans for all team members; support their growth and wellbeingTrain and support Account Directors (ADs) in line management responsibilitiesIdentify training needs and resolve issues in collaboration with Director of Client PartnershipsLead recruitment efforts for your business unit; participate actively in hiring processesTeam LeadershipRun cross-functional brand teams to ensure delivery of best-in-class workEmpower team members to take ownership of tasks/problemsCreate clear client development plans that encourage cross-departmental involvementTrusted PartnershipServe as a consultant-level partner for clients; build relationships based on trust and respectManage and resolve client conflicts effectivelyGuide teams to achieve similar levels of trust with clientsLeadership & Agency CultureSet an example for professional conduct internally and externallyCollaborate with Directors, other BUDs, ADs, and departmental leads to maintain high service standardsMake decisions/recommendations that improve agency processesBusiness ManagementDeliver annual new business/organic growth targets for the unit; contribute to overall agency targetsLead pitch teams with a track record of successful conversionsEnsure revenue delivery within profit margins; manage financial reporting/forecasting with Directors/finance teamCulture BuildingContribute positively to agency culture; support implementation of business plans/initiativesEnhance external presence/voice of the agencyAbout YouExcellent leadership abilitiesHigh integrityStrong emotional intelligenceOutstanding interpersonal & people management skillsAdvanced financial acumenProven ability to form trusted partnerships at all seniority levelsDemonstrated success in growing/delivering business & winning pitchesExperience running successful teams of varying sizes/seniority mixesAbility to inspire/motivate othersWhat We Can OfferYou'll receive up to a 7% pension contribution, life insurance, income protection, and private medical insurance for peace of mind.
