Requirements Has a UK Dispensing Qualification (NVQ Level 2 dispensary assistant qualification) Is able to work full time (37.5h/week), shift patterns and weekends on a rota basis Fast, accurate and efficient worker Experience in English community pharmacy dispensing NHS prescriptions Good understanding of NHS prescription system Superb organisational skills and an ability to expertly juggle and prioritise several tasks at the same time A can-do attitude you are prepared to roll up your sleeves and get things done An appreciation for the importance of respect and confidentiality in healthcare Has exceptional communication skills verbal and written Is willing to undergo a full DBS check An Idea Of What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like Dispensing prescriptions Using computer systems to generate dispensing labels Assembling and labelling medicines Referring problems or queries to the pharmacist Gather, organise, and assess patient information Undertake other reasonable duties within the framework of the post as directed by the Team Leader/Operations Manager Cleaning work surfaces and shelving on a regular basis and ensuring that all dispensary equipment is kept clean and kept in good working order Ensuring that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintaining the temperature control record/logbook Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
