We are looking to recruit an Electrical Technical Lead to support the Metering Technical Services Manager with our ongoing metering projects and assist the Senior Management Team in development of potential revenue streams in existing and emerging marketsWhat we're looking for:Do you have strong organisational, planning and time management skills?Do you have extensive experience in the electrical industry?Do you keep up to date with changes within the electrical infrastructure and emerging markets? Do you enjoy a challenge and enjoy being part of a close-knit team?And are you a great communicator, and able to work well with others in order to achieve outstanding results?What you'll do:Provide technical support for ensuring all metering installations are fully compliant with industry standards, company standards, legal & contractual obligations.Provide a proactive environment to encourage innovation with regards to technical support and quality standards.Support Management teams to ensure that quality inspections are completed in line with the requirements of the company's Quality & Compliance policy.Investigate complaints, accidents & incidents, and prepare/ review technical investigation reports.Ensure follow up actions to metering related incident investigations have been completed.Development and maintenance of electrical safe bulletins, procedures & safe systems of workWork collaboratively across the business and in partnership with L&D team to align training materialsEnsure your own Continual Professional Development (CPD).What we'd like to see:A minimum City and Guilds Level 3 in Electrical EngineeringA proven track record in building services and maintenanceSolid understanding of health and safety regulationsSolid understanding of electrical regulations and standardsIndustry experience in the position of an Authorised Person/Authorising EngineerFull UK Driving LicenceWhat we'd also like to see:Hold or working towards HNC in the appropriate subjectStrong leadership, coaching and interpersonal skillsProject management, organisation and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and time management skillsIT literate, with good knowledge of MS productsProfessional registration with IETWhat we're offering:As a FTSE 250 company we offer stability and career progression.
