Sales Executive - New Home / Housing Development Sector. * Base salary to £26,000 (plus open ended commission scheme) * (On Target Earnings guide £40,000+ per year) * Company Car or Car Allowance * 5 Weeks Holiday plus all Bank Holidays, no weekend working & a pension scheme The Company The Company has over 25 years of experience within this sector, they have grown from a regionally based to a nationally based company offering a landscape design and installation service for show home gardens, standard plot gardens and open spaces. The Detail As the Sales Executive you will be working for a Company that has preferred supplier status with most of the national and regional house builders and will be responsible for the development of business within a set geographical area. As the Sales Executive you will * Work closely with existing Clients to ensure continued business on new housing developments. * Proactively look to secure business with new Housing Developers (National and Regional). * Work closely with internal design, estimating and operational teams to ensure project designs match client specifications for size, space, design and cost and that they are installed to design, agreed time frames and clients satisfaction. What you will need * A good understanding of the new build housing market either working as a New Homes / Retirement Living Sales Professional, an Estate Agent or with the experience of selling construction related products into the sector. * Experience of both account management and business development. * To be organised with good time management and planning skills, happy to meet and present to Clients, have excellent attention to detail skills (ensuring that your meeting notes contain all of the detail needed to maximise the success of submitted design plans and to be able to brief the in-house design team). * If you have an understanding of the Main Contractors or of Sub-Contractors that would be an advantage, if not then key is the experience related to the sale of products into the new build sector or of selling new build properties either for a Developer or an Estate Agent. The successful Sales Executive will be working alongside * The Operations Teams who are experts at planning and managing installation projects. * The Design Team who have lots of experience of different landscaping themes for the varying garden and open space sizes on new build developments. * An Estimating Team who will know based on plan drawings given by the housebuilder and designs how many metres of turf, how many plants, shrubs and trees are needed and will accurately cost these so that you can produce the quotation. * An Admin Support Team who support both the sales and operational teams to ensure projects are completed to clients satisfaction and their own quality standards. * The Sales Executives from other areas in the UK who understand the ins and outs of what your job involves and how best to succeed and work closely with each other sharing ideas, leads, news and advice. All of which gives you the support you need to initially learn and then be successful as the dedicated sales professional for your area. So in summary the company and teams will give you all the tools and support you need to be successful in what is a very buoyant sector linked to the building of new houses, retirement villages, apartment blocks and other residential properties.
