'Utilities Brand of the Year' in 2020 - but we're only just getting started.The RoleIn a nutshell, we want a talented motion graphic design who can bring the UW brand to life. We're looking for someone to join our ever growing Creative team, who possess an undeniable creative passion for improving their own craft as well as evolving and pushing on the UW brand through motion. Exemplary craft skills and attention to detail are a must; applied to everything from simple social assets and campaigns to larger narrative driven video content, you'll help the team to answer a variety of engaging and challenging briefs from around the business.What you will doYou'll take your lead from the Brand and Communications team and help us to improve the quality and efficiency of our creative outputs. You'll work closely with the marketing and creative teams across a range of varied projects and requests. We'll need you to manage a number of briefs at one time, and deliver these on time, on brand while constantly looking to improve the quality. It's essential that you can flex from concepting and ideation to delivery of finished assets in equal measure, day to day. You'll assist with the development of creative for digital campaigns. You're brimming with new ideas, insights, processes and techniques to better the ways of working and the output of the business.A bit more about youYou've held a motion graphic role for 3-5 years in either an In-house team or brand and design agency. You're used to working in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment - working collaboratively with marketing, creative, product owners and various other departments.You can interpret a brief and turn it into digestible content. You're able to work to short deadlines and take a pragmatic approach to re-organising your work to help others achieve business goals. You've got good presentation skills and can talk about your thoughts and ideas with confidence. You've got a great knowledge of digital communications; formats, specifications, and platforms. You are a master in a variety of software such as Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Animate, Redshift or similar rendering software.You'll be proficient in video editing with a strong sense of narrative. If you have 3D animation skills and knowledge that's a great bonus.One of our business tools is the G Suite; Gmail, Gdrive, Google Slides, Google Docs etc, so you'll know your way around that too.What we are offering;A very competitive basic salary, some great benefits and the potential to join our share option scheme.UW's offices are based in Colindale, North London. Due to the current circumstances and government guidance the majority of the business is set up to work remotely, including the Design team and the role of Creative Artworker. As part of this unprecedented shift in the way we work, we will continually be reviewing how best to collaborate and work together with the safety and well being of staff as a priority.
