Provide support to departments to ensure optimal decisions are being made, taking advantage of collaboration opportunities where this is the best approach. Proactively identify and articulate opportunities, reporting internally and externally on progress. Support the development and delivery of the strategy to extend the Thames Connect approach outside of London. Engage with the relevant local authorities working with our Local Government Team. To be successful you will have the following skills and experience: Educated to degree level with further professional/management qualifications or outstanding role-specific experience. Previous experience of handling, reporting and presenting on large quantities of data is essential. Ability to efficiently manage potential issues and understand their impact. Strong technical skills. Ability to build an active network/relationship with different stakeholders within the business is critical. A confident and effective communicator. As well as unlocking internal collaborative planning, the projects also established new ways of working with other utilities and local highways authorities to realise further benefits and reduce disruption to the public. Within this post you will be instrumental in leading the business into the next phase of the journey – the tool is being on-boarded by our Digital department and you will have the opportunity to shape our overall approach to collaborative street works, which offers an opportunity for substantial savings for our capital programmes in water and wastewater and is becoming the expectation of the local highway authorities.
