If you're organised, methodical, and excited by the challenge of diving into data—especially when it comes to pricing—then we want to hear from youWe’re looking for a Strategic Delivery & Change Manager to join our Retail Pricing team either working remotely or in our Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex offices.In this role you’ll work with senior stakeholders to create a vision and roadmap for your business area, ensuring alignment to the broader business outcomes.You will be the ambassador for your business area and associated technical product, developing an excellent understanding of your customer and end users needs to develop a compelling proposition.As Strategic Delivery & Change Manager you will be responsible for the business management of your roadmap, working directly with Technical Product Owners and the Technical Product teams to ensure a deep understanding of your product initiatives and providing SME support throughout the delivery life cycle.You will also ensure any risks, issues, audit and control requirements related to your technical product(s) are managed appropriately.Core skills we’re looking for to succeed in the role:Project Manager experience with strong stakeholder management skillsCurious mind and keen to understand the detail and data of pricingStrong problem solver who is organised and methodicalNice to have skills, but optional:Commercial experienceWhat’s involved:Define, maintain and execute a business area roadmap aligned to the wider business plan in order to support the business manager’s strategyCreate and maintain a comprehensive business area roadmap and visionOrganise and facilitate ideation sessions working with pillar stakeholders and technology teams to generate innovative features or product enhancements that are aligned to the business plan and industry/market trendsAct as the voice of the customer engaging directly with Technical Product Owners and Product teams to ensure a deep understanding of your initiatives providing SME support through the delivery lifecycle.Work with Finance Business Partners capture and monitor change benefits.The administration of ADO to support the creation of work aligned to the business area roadmap including technical products and the wider business planManage all aspects of development related change including requirements, business risks and issuesSupport the preparation of investment cases and business proposals for new initiatives, conducting cost-benefit analysis and financial forecasting to support decision-making by senior management and stakeholdersEnsure business readiness for technical and non-technical change, working with supporting areas, to ensure the appropriate approvals and operating procedures are in place to support the changeExperience & knowledgeDemonstrable experience of Agile development approachesDemonstrable experience of managing change within an Agile methodologyDemonstrable experience of creating Product roadmaps and translating product needs into Epics aligned to Product strategy.Experience of working within a highly regulated environmentUnderstanding of the insurance/financial services industry, its products and key regulationsStrong stakeholder management experience within a fast paced, matrixed environmentExperience of product management, design, and developmentChange process from ideation through to delivery and post live managementUnderstanding of UK personal lines insurance products, the UK insurance industry and the different distribution channelsKnowledge of FCA requirements (including TCF)Ability to influence senior stakeholders and external suppliersHighly motivated self-starterAbility to take quick confident decisions at a strategic level to move things forwardStructured thinking to find solutions to complex problems and the ability to adopt a pragmatic way forwardStrong leadership skillsAbility to communicate complex information in an easily digestible format to key stakeholdersConfidence in prioritising and balancing competing work streamsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood time management and organisation skillsExcellent literacy and numeracy skillsEntrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to spot opportunitiesAre you the person we’re looking for?
