The Role:

As part of Redgate's growth, we're seeking several Business Development Representatives to support Redgate's growth in the EMEA and AMER markets through prospecting for new business opportunities for the Account Executive team.

Reporting to one of our BDR Managers, you'll fast become an expert in Redgate's portfolio of database change management and operations solutions.

This is an Associate position. You will be responsible for proactively prospecting into new and existing accounts using both marketing and self-generated leads. Using a variety of platforms including phone and social media, you will qualify those leads to generate high-quality sales opportunities within target accounts for the Named Account Executive team.

Responsibilities in the role:

  • Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills.
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling).
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts.
  • Qualify opportunities with existing and new accounts via call, email, social media, and marketing contacts provided.
  • Contribute to the net new team initiative, to find new avenues of growth for Redgate.
  • Identify decision-makers and buyer groups who may not be aware of Redgate in organizations we have an existing relationship with.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with technical and business decision-makers.
  • Research prospects and identify key contacts updating Salesforce contact and account records.
  • Collaborate weekly with Account Executives, strategically planning approaches to set accounts.
  • Identify business pains, objectives and related impacts on a prospect's organization. You will be able to hold a business conversation with a variety of contact types within an organization – conversations that will follow Redgate's sales methodology and establish appropriate agreed next actions.
  • Collaborate with Redgate's Field Marketing team on customer needs, messaging, and leads from our ABM channels to execute in Tier 3 and shared AE accounts.

What experience you will bring to the table:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Outbound sales.
  • A strong sales acumen.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional team.
  • A genuine interest in technology.
  • The ability to learn and understand technical information.

Nice to have:

  • CRM experience.
  • SaaS experience.
  • Enterprise prospecting experience.

What's in it for you?

  • Clear and structured career path into Account Executive capacity and beyond.
  • World-class training & development in the areas of professional growth and product knowledge.
  • Constant learning and knowledge sharing with some of the best complex selling professionals in the industry.
  • Chance to work in a dynamic, fun and challenging environment where we will make sure you reach your full potential.

What's the package?

  • A great benefits package.
  • Flexible hours.
  • £30,000 - £40,000 Basic with Up to £50,000 OTE, depending on experience.

Flexible-hybrid model:

Achieving work-life balance has never been more important, and so Redgate has adopted a flexible-hybrid model. This means that people will work flexibly with a blend of remote (home) and co-located (office) work, with teams having the flexibility to decide which location best suits the outcomes they need to deliver.

Redgate Software is an Equal Opportunity Employer

At Redgate, we recruit on a rolling basis, which means we carry on recruiting until we find the right person for the role. We tend to compare individuals to the role specification rather than to each other.

It doesn't hurt to take a chance and apply While we list out what we generally look for, we are likely missing other attributes and skills that you have that could make you a great fit. Research has shown this especially applies to women and other marginalized groups, who tend to apply if they check 100% of every box, versus men who apply if they hit roughly 60%.We are an inclusive employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
