Graduate Town Planner TipTopJob, in partnership with Penguin Recruitment, is seeking a Graduate Town Planner for an established planning consultancy based in Norwich. Location: Norwich Salary: £25,000–£30,000 per annum Employment Type: Full‑time Seniority Level: Internship Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary consultancy that plays a leading role in shaping sustainable and high‑quality developments across the UK. You will be working alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a range of projects from local developments to national infrastructure. The role offers guided exposure, caring mentorship, and a clearly defined pathway for career progression. Responsibilities Prepare and submit planning applications, pre‑application enquiries, and appeals. Undertake research and planning appraisals. Review Local Plans and support client projects through the planning process. Assist with community engagement, committee meetings, and public consultations. Layliaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders. Support the wider team in delivering projects on time and within budget. About You Hold (or be working towards) an RTPI‑accredited degree in Town Planning, Geography, Urban Design, or a related subject. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be confident working independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and development. Have a genuine interest in shaping the built and natural environment. Applicants with non‑accredited degrees are welcome if seeking RTPI accreditation through supported study and professional training.
