We're looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our growing team and help us continue delivering smart and practical tax solutions to the clients who trust us. This role is a great fit if you're ready to take ownership of your own portfolio, provide expert tax advisory services and guide clients through a landscape that's always evolving, while mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities Lead a portfolio of UK corporate tax clients including groups and complex cases Provide commercially focused tax advice from restructuring to R&D reliefs, share schemes and more Take a lead on managing deadlines, tax risk, compliance and internal workflows Coach and support more junior team members, helping them grow in confidence and capability Collaborate with EQ Partners to shape tax strategies, identify planning opportunities and add real value to our clients Help build lasting client relationships based on trust, expertise and consistent delivery Qualifications Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent) Have UK corporate tax experience, ideally within a Top 10 professional services firm Strong understanding of UK corporation tax legislation Proven ability to manage deadlines and team supervision Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Exposure to some international tax/transferring pricing is desirable Experience with CCH corporate is desirable Benefits Competitive salary 33 days annual leave (plus extra after 3 & 5 years' service) Pension (up to 10% employee contribution, matched by EQ) Life insurance (4 x annual salary) Private medical cover (eligible at certain grades and/or after specified length of service) Income protection - eligible after completing 1 year of service Enhanced family-friendly leave and pay - eligible after 6 and 12 months service Paid volunteering time (14 hours annually) EE mobile discount (for you + friends/family) Support for CGI qualification & continuous training Friendly, inclusive work culture with regular social events Belong @ EQ, Part of the Sumer Group At Sumer, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, not just as buzzwords, but as the heartbeat of our team.
