Cleaning and Waste Operative – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services The role is located in a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. We are looking for a motivated, reliable, hardworking individual. No experience is required as full training will be provided. Remuneration & Working Hours Salary: £12.85 per hour Hours: 35 hours per week Shift pattern: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, 4 on / 2 off Contract type: Permanent Key Responsibilities Perform general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens. Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and cleaning products. Keep all cleaning equipment clean, well‑maintained and in safe working order. Respond quickly to call‑outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies. Manage waste disposal in accordance with client and company procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Motivated, reliable and hardworking. Comfortable working as part of a team and flexible in approach. Basic Disclosure Check completed and drug & alcohol screening passed. Full training will be provided; no previous experience required.
