IT DOES. William James.We are looking for an ambitious Senior Personal Tax Manager to join a growing and dynamic tax team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role with real influence over the development of the practice, while working with a broad and varied client portfolio.As part of a supportive and progressive team, you will be able to shape your role, contribute to business development, and play a key part in developing the next generation of tax professionals. This role offers both personal career progression and the chance to drive the growth of the firm in the local market.Your responsibilities as the Personal Tax Senior Manager will include:Managing, developing, and expanding the personal tax team, including recruiting and coaching team members.Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering trusted advisory services.Playing an active role in business development and networking within the local marketplace to expand the firms client base.Supporting the senior leadership team in delivering strategic objectives for the tax practice.Acting as a mentor and leader, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.We are looking for candidates who:Are appropriately qualified (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).Have significant experience working within a personal tax environment.Are confident business developers with a strong network or appetite to build contacts within the local business community.Are excellent people managers who enjoy coaching and developing others.Are commercially minded and motivated to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the firm.What's on Offer:30 days holiday, plus bank holidays and office closure over Christmas.Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.Comprehensive benefits package.A collaborative and supportive work culture.Ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities.If you are a driven personal tax specialist looking to take the next step in your career with a supportive and forward-thinking firm, we would love to hear from you.
