What You Will Do: Receive and analyse incoming contacts and referrals concerning children at potential risk of harm. Undertake threshold decision-making using Plymouth’s Continuum of Need and statutory frameworks. Collaborate with multiple agencies, including police, health, and education, to complete multi-agency risk assessments. Participate in daily MASH meetings, contributing insights and sharing intelligence to inform case outcomes. Record decisions, rationales, and next steps clearly and accurately on the Mosaic case management system. Complete Section 17 Child in Need assessments and Section 47 child protection enquiries, where appropriate. Liaise effectively with Early Help, Children’s Social Care, and partner agencies to ensure smooth case transitions. Use Signs of Safety and other evidence-based frameworks to promote strengths-based practice. Keep children and families’ voices central to all assessments, planning, and decisions.
