7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver Location: Livingston Distribution Centre Compensation: £33,600 / year Overview Join ScS as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver and be part of a supportive team dedicated to bringing smiles to customers’ faces. This role rewards hard work with great benefits and offers opportunities for growth. What’s the opportunity? You’ll deliver and install furniture in customers’ homes, work through a delivery schedule with the support of a crew mate, and help load and unload furniture onto our vehicles. You’ll provide a brilliant service, encourage feedback, maintain safety through checks and safe driving, and work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Responsibilities Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate Working as part of a wider distribution centre team to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles Providing a brilliant service to customers and encouraging their feedback Ensuring the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely Working 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off; flexibility required in peak periods Heavy lifting Qualifications Previous experience within a driving role Category C1 vehicle licence Driver digital tachograph card Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence) Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and familiar with the use and regulation of tacographs Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow process and procedures Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling; role involves heavy lifting Hard working Team player Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable) Benefits Basic salary of £33,600.00li> A five day rest period every three weeks Development plan 33 days holidays including bank holidays pro rata Employee benefits platform – access to 100s of high street discounts and more Colleague discount Career progression Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave Employee Assistance Programme – free access to advice and information on a range of topics Virtual GP – access to a GP service 24/7 Salary finance scheme Pension scheme Death in service Life assurance Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Retail We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
