They are now seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their expert service team — a hands‑on role for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys travel, independence, and working with complex machinery. As a Mechanical Service Engineer, you will install, commission, maintain, and service advanced mechanical equipment at customer sites in the UK and overseas. You'll carry out planned maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. The position involves extensive travel and offers the chance to work on a wide variety of engineering systems within industries that demand precision and reliability. Mechanical Service Engineer - Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and maintain complex mechanical systems worldwide. Perform planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic faults. Support testing, validation, and customer handover processes. Deliver on‑site training and clear technical guidance to clients. Produce accurate service documentation and reports. Uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and discretion. Contribute technical feedback to internal teams to support product improvement. Mechanical Service Engineer - About You Qualified mechanical or multi‑skilled engineer (HNC, NVQ Level 3, or apprenticeship). Experience servicing capital or industrial equipment. Skilled in mechanical fitting, assembly, and hydraulics/pneumatics. Confident working independently in varied customer environments. Strong communication and organisational skills.
