About the Role

Venatu Automotive are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Van Driver to join their busy and growing depot based in Huntingdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dependable, customer-focused individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys being on the road. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of welfare vans to customer sites across the region — supporting essential infrastructure and construction projects.

You’ll work closely with the Depot Manager, Operations Team, and Hire Desk Administrators to ensure each delivery is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Safely deliver and collect welfare vans to and from customer sites in a timely manner
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly
Prepare vehicles for hire, including valeting, testing, and inspection
Ensure all relevant paperwork and system updates are completed accurately
Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
Provide outstanding customer service, representing the business professionally
Support with any other operational duties as required by management

About You

Minimum 2 years’ driving experience with a full, clean UK driving licence
Previous experience in a driving, delivery, or logistics role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent planning and time management abilities
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety
A professional, polite, and positive attitude at all times
