Turning complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that drives decision-making, readiness and improvement across our organisation.Your Role in ActionAnalysis and interpret emergency event and readiness dataLead post-incident reviews and lessons learned programsIdentify risks, gaps and improvement opportunitiesSupport operational readiness identifying risks, capability gaps and improvement opportunities through both qualitative and quantitative analysisDevelop and maintain dashboards and situational awareness tools (e.g. WebEOC)Provide intelligence for proactive decision-makingDeliver high-quality reports and insights for senior leadersCoordinate after-action reviews, ensuring findings are integrated into broader improvement and assurance frameworksSupport training for staff on emergency data platforms, reporting tools, and lessons processesWhat Makes You a Great FitA seasoned professional with extensive range of knowledge and expertise gained through at least 8 to 10 years in Business Improvement or Analyst positionsTertiary level qualification in Business Management, Information Technology or related disciplinesExperience working with large datasets and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL)Proven ability to analyse and explain the drivers behind performance thresholds providing meaningful insights to support understanding and decision-makingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly and conciselyStrategic thinking with proven problem-solving abilityExperience in process improvement and training deliveryKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar modelsExperience in energy, utilities, or regulated industries would be advantageousBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
