Overview This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and specialised dietetic team within the All‑Age Eating disorder service and work collaboratively with a local general adolescent mental health unit. The role will predominantly focus on the delivery of nutritional care for both adult and child ARFID patients, but opportunities to learn and work across all diagnosable eating disorders will be encouraged. Our team is committed to delivering the highest quality of care, enabling our service users to have autonomy and choice in their recovery. We achieve this through regular developmental opportunities, journal reviews and twice monthly CPD, delivered both by dietitians and the wider MDT. While experience in mental health is advantageous for the candidate, we also encourage applications from those with other transferable skills. You should be adaptable, enjoy variety, and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively. This role also includes contributing to audits and research, developing innovative approaches to care, and supporting the recruitment, training, and development of junior dietetic staff and students. The role is full-time, though part‑time hours will be considered. Responsibilities Work under the operational guidance of the Dietetic Lead and Advanced Dietetic Practitioner, with support from the ARFID Operational lead to develop and enhance your dietetic skills in eating disorders. Manage a diverse caseload across community and inpatient settings, predominately with ARFID patients and General Adolescent Mental Health. Provide care across various outpatient sites within Kent, with opportunities for agile working. Deliver educational groups and attend regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Support our student and apprenticeship training programmes and support junior members of staff assigned to each pathway within the team. Our Values We are kind. We are respectful. We work together with our communities. These three values help us to strive to provide the best care by the best people. Induction and Probation NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop‑in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. This post will be subject to a probationary period. High Cost Area Supplement Please note that High Cost Area Supplement (HCAS) is not included to ensure fairness and consistency within our Trust. Sponsorship We are a registered sponsor organisation, but we are unable to offer sponsorship for all job roles. Please check your eligibility under the UKVI points‑based system. Use of AI Use of AI is governed by our recruitment policies. Please see the attached document regarding acceptable use of AI during the recruitment process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
