We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimise our logistics and warehouse operations at Berwick Care. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective running of all logistics functions, including transport planning, courier management, goods‑in, order fulfilment, and inventory flow across the business. You will oversee the daily coordination of drivers, routing, deliveries, warehouse processes, and service levels, ensuring that customers receive the highest standard of delivery performance. The successful candidate will bring a strategic, forward‑thinking mindset combined with a hands‑on approach, offering strong leadership and structure within a busy, fast‑paced environment. Working closely with internal teams, you will play a vital role in improving operational performance, strengthening communication, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support long‑term business goals. Experience & Skills Proven experience in a Warehouse Management role with a strong record of improving performance and efficiency. Experience managing, motivating, and developing warehouse and driving teams. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to hold people accountable respectfully. Strategic thinker with practical, hands‑on management abilities. Solid understanding of ERP, WMS, and transport routing software. Experience implementing Lean / 5S principles and process improvements. Analytical and organised with excellent problem‑solving and planning abilities. Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Experience with warehouse machinery (e.g. forklifts, pallet wrappers, pallet trucks).
