Ladywell Medical Centre West (list size circa 10,500) is a forward thinking, friendly practice located in the village of Corstorphine on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Experienced or newly qualified GPs would be welcomed to apply. We are an active, long established GP training practice, who are used to working with GPs at all stages of their careers. We have daily huddles to improve team working and to provide mutual support/advice. The clinical team comprises of 7 GP Partners and 2 salaried GP. In terms of clinical and admin support, the team comprises of 1 Practice Nurse, a Treatment Room Nurse a team of phlebotomists, SAS Paramedic input, in-house Pharmacist support and a well established Administration Team. In addition, we have access to NHS Lothian 3rd Sector extended staff in the form of CAMHS staff. Duties will include consultations with patients by telephone, and Face to Face surgery consultations, as well as a share of home visits, DOCMAN, Prescriptions and on call session(s).
