We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as a Compliance Manager (Asbestos). This is a permanent job, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role comes with Agile Working. This is a field-based role and will require travel to our customers and properties across East Anglia. As a Compliance Manager (Asbestos), you will ensure that statutory, legislative, and regulatory requirements in relation to Asbestos Safety Management are met, specifically in relation to the Health and Safety Act 1974 and the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012. You will own the day-to-day management of Asbestos Compliance including overseeing operational performance and adherence to budgets. Also responsible for procuring and delivering appropriate contracts that provide surveying and removal services across the business ensuring that we are spending money wisely and prioritising the safety of our customers and tenants. Working closely with the Head of Landlord Compliance and the Asset Management Team in addition to partners, contractors, and our residents to deliver outstanding customer service whilst continually working towards improving performance through regular reviews of our systems and processes. With a sound understanding of statutory compliance and health and safety. You’ll be able to negotiate and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Whilst working to deadlines and in a fast-paced environment. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent standard, you will also hold a full valid driving licence. The ideal candidate will also hold a P402, P404, or P405 qualification.
