A Transaction Advisory Services Tax Senior will be responsible for buy-side and sell-side tax transaction advisory engagements for middle market companies in a variety of industries and private equity investors. This work will include analyzing terms sheets and related legal documents; reviewing financial models and analysis to assist in conducting tax advisory and structuring services; conducting buy side and sell side tax due diligence; and other tax related transaction services engagementsCompetencies and Position RequirementsDedicated to high-caliber client serviceEffective project management, analytical, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skillsThrives in a dynamic and collaborative work environmentKnowledge of tax compliance and planning at both the federal and state levelProvides creative solutions to complex client problemsDemonstrates the ability to take a “hands on approach” to ensure project deliverables are completed timely and accuratelyDemonstrates the ability to work on multiple engagements to a successful and efficient completionHighly responsive to the client’s needs and requestsManages the client’s expectations and the day-to-day client relationshipMeets time deadlines in a highly variable and dynamic work environment while also meeting or exceeding quality requirementsEducation and ExperienceThree or more years of experience in taxation with a public accounting firmMasters or other form of 150 college credit hours with requisite accounting related courses (Bachelor’s degrees may be considered in some situations)CPA certificate or advanced professional degree preferredAbility to work a flexible schedule based on business needsSupportive and collaborative cultureBNN strongly believes in maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.
