Lastly, and by no means least, because we’re a small agency, everyone gets the chance to make a big impact. The role We’re seeking a talented and versatile Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in event marketing, content creation, and brand development, ideally within an agency, B2B, medical or member association environment. You’ll lead day-to-day marketing activity for one of our key association clients, managing campaigns, communications and stakeholder relationships to support their events and abstract submission programmes. You’ll also support our wider client event portfolio, helping to shape brand identities, craft compelling content and deliver creative, high-impact campaigns. Responsibilities Develop and deliver event marketing plans that drive registrations, abstract submissions and audience engagement. Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns (digital, email, social, print) to meet event and client objectives. Manage marketing budgets, to ensure all activity is efficient, effective, and within scope. Act as marketing lead and brand guardian for a key client, ensuring consistency across all communications. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and suppliers, providing strategic and hands-on support. Keep event websites, assets and content are up to date, on-brand and optimised for UX. Write, edit and proof engaging content across platforms — from event copy and delegate comms to social and campaign messaging. Support brand identity development across our client event portfolio. Collaborate with internal teams and the client to deliver cohesive, creative campaigns. Track and analyse performance, using insights to optimise activity and report on ROI. About you You’re a confident marketer who knows how to build engagement and deliver results through great events, clear messaging and strong brand storytelling. You combine creativity with commercial awareness and thrive in a collaborative agency setting. Essential 4+ years’ experience in B2B event marketing, ideally at manager level or ready to step up. Proven track record delivering integrated event marketing campaigns. Excellent copywriting, editing and proofing skills with a customer-first mindset. Strong understanding of brand development and multi-channel storytelling. Experience managing multiple projects, budgets and stakeholders. Confident using data and analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar) to inform reporting and decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and budget and project management skills. Experience delivering digital campaigns, including email, web optimisation and UX. Knowledge using project management tools (Monday.com, Trello, Asana, Kanban) Familiarity with CMS, CRM and automation tools (WordPress, Active Campaign, HubSpot) Background in B2B, agency, or member association environments, ideally within medical or professional sectors.
