Senior Clinical Director – Companion Animal Division We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Clinical Director to join us in our Companion Animal division across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire (Region 12). You must be passionate about developing a team to deliver superior client and clinical care. You will be a role model and advocate for our core values and prepared to consistently challenge yourself and your colleagues to live by them. As the Senior Clinical Director you will work within Region 12s team of SCD/SPDs, the RD, and your aligned practice leaders, to provide leadership, operational and strategic direction, and deliver the P&L. You will carry out regular practice visits, attend and present at regional meetings and play your part in driving clinical cohesion and commercial performance of the region. Key Leadership Requirements Great people and leadership skills to inspire high engagement within the team, region and practices; focusing on people development, motivation and career progression to improve performance and satisfaction Excellent communication skills; adept at delivering key messages in a timely manner and in the best way Ability to build productive and collaborative relationships; working closely with the Regional Director, Clinical Lead, peer SCD/SPDs, HR Business Partner, Finance Partner and other support team colleagues to achieve desired outcomes for our region A strong understanding of practice operating structures, interpreting financial information, data and KPI Dashboards A keen interest in exploring business and team growth opportunities, and build on overall practice and team development Experience of running or actively involved in running a practice; most importantly responsibility for employment costs and general overheads, compliance with clinical and behavioural standards within the practice in line with the RCVS code of professional conduct and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and other relevant legislation. Alongside the above, it will be an advantage if you have experience in multi-site leadership. This is a key role working with a progressive leadership team. The role is full time working 40 hours per week although we support flexibility and are open to discussing what this role could look like for you.
