The Platform delivers core products including Identity & Authentication as a Service, giving end-to-end packaged services of several components for self-serve consumption. What will I be doing? Lead a team of engineers in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software applications and systems. Establish and enforce standards, and methodologies for software engineering, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs. Architect and design scalable, cloud-based solutions using microservices and APIs. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and partners to prioritize and deliver the software engineering roadmap. Manage engineering team performance, offering guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Drive continuous improvement and innovation, staying updated on the latest tech trends and incorporating standard processes. Ensure quality is maintained across the engineering lifecycle, including continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD). What you’ll need Strong experience in software engineering, ideally with expertise in Java or similar languages. A solid understanding of microservice architectures, API development, and cloud technologies (public and private cloud). Practical experience in CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with performance engineering and cloud optimization techniques. Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, service mesh, orchestration). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business solutions.
