If you want to be part of something extraordinary, join us. We are looking for a dedicated team player to lead our pre-school provision, working closely with the EYFS team and SENCO. Are you a creative teacher with the skills, knowledge and ability to inspire and develop our lovely children? If so, the Governors and Headteacher at Long Mead would love meet you and show you around our wonderful school. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs. This is a main pay scale, part-time post on a fixed term contract, initially for a year. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS. Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, advising parents and carers regularly. Create a warm, safe, and inclusive environment that supports all children’s development. Develop and implement targeted support plans for children needing additional guidance. Support children with routines, independence skills, and self-care. Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures We are looking for someone who: Has QTS and has experience teaching young children, ideally in a pre-school or nursery setting Is calm, patient, and nurturing, with a passion for early years education Understands the importance of play-based learning and child development Has experience supporting children with SEND – desirable What we can offer you: a welcoming and friendly school the opportunity to work in a motivated team who are committed to making a difference ongoing professional development including ECT mentoring opportunity to develop your subject leadership laughter and good team spirit If you are passionate about making a difference and have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
