Contract Supervisor Join to apply for the Contract Supervisor role at FCC Environmental Services. Pay Range Base pay ranges are provided by FCC Environmental Services. Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Hours 40 - 45 hours per week. Full-time position, working five days per week. Responsibilities Plan, control, and supervise staff and resources to maintain collection of refuse, recycling, and street cleansing throughout the district. Lead a team of 40+ employees, ensuring contractual requirements are met. Maintain high standards of health and safety, performance, and customer service. Plan and organise daily tasks, arrange crew deployment, and allocate vehicles, plant, and materials. Prepare and record resource schedules to ensure contract schedules are met. Set output targets for crews and monitor performance. Ensure accurate completion of all relevant documentation. Carry out health and safety monitoring and maintain records. Manage employee attendance, grievances, and discipline. Maintain high standards of contractor/client liaison. Support achievement of business objectives and compliance with company procedures. Qualifications & Experience Experience supervising teams, ideally within waste management, logistics, or similar operational environment. Strong planning and organisational skills, with ability to allocate resources and monitor performance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including IT proficiency. Valid UK driving licence (LGV Class 2 and O Licence desirable). Ability to work flexible hours and in adverse weather conditions. Experience in health and safety monitoring and compliance. Proven ability to delegate, train, lead, and develop a workforce. Calm, assertive, and confident approach with strong negotiation and customer service skills. Experience in stock control, workload planning, and scheduling. Local knowledge of the area (desirable). Experience in disciplinary and absence management.
